From private organizations (such as mining to tourism) to public entities (including Boards & Government), the North presents enormous economic and governance potential. Yet due to a critical lack of management, operational and administrative expertise (of Northern entities or the Southern companies looking to do business with them) many businesses and Boards are currently drowning in inefficiency or failing, despite their fantastic potential.
Government
The Canadian Government is committed to helping the North realize its true potential as a healthy, prosperous and secure region within a strong and sovereign Canada. It is improving Northern regulatory systems and investing in critical infrastructure to attract investors and developers to the North – while balancing the need to ensure development happens in a sustainable way and that Northerners benefit directly from economic growth.
MalTi seeks to become both a Government and private-sector partner, in support of realizing this vision. Over 25 years’ experience working in and with the North, MalTi Consulting Ltd. will provide expert business development and governance consultation services to Boards, organizations and businesses in the North and to Southern companies seeking to do business in the North.
